Najed Azzam
Chairman, NBS Board of Directors
Mr. Najed Azzam, a graduate of NBS, received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from Derby University, UK.
Mr. Azzam is currently working as the CEO of NAZDAQ, a software development company with over 300 customers in more than 35 countries. Before joining NAZDAQ, he worked as the Executive Vice-President of the Broadband Business Unit at Galtronics Corporation Ltd. He established the business unit, developed and managed international cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
During his college years, Mr. Azzam was active in the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel, FCSI, and served as the Chairman of the Student Committee of FCSI during the years 1990 and 1991. Mr. Azzam served for three years as a Board member of the Nazareth Village and EMMS (the owners of the land on which Nazareth Village is built). He contributed to defining and strengthening the relationship between the Nazareth Village and EMMS.
Currently he serves on the Church Council of Local Baptist Church and leads the Committee for External Affairs. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of First Fruits - Israel Center for Economic Advancement, which has in its vision to see the Body of Messiah in Israel flourish and prosper through God-honoring professionals, thriving “kingdom businesses” and economic transformation.
As NBS’ Chairman of the Board, Mr. Azzam leads the formulation of the school’s strategies and direction to ensure the fulfillment of its vision of “Building the Rising Generations, Glorifying Jesus Christ Through Distinctive Education”. He works closely with Friends of Nazareth and other international partners to support the school.

Aziz Daeem
High School Principal
Dr. Daeem joined the NBS staff for the 2020-21 school year. His professional career includes thirty-three years of education teaching and leadership. He comes to NBS from St. John's Episcopal School in Haifa, a K-8th grade Evangelical Christian school. He is well established in Israel as an exceptional educational leader.
He has two degrees (B.S. and M.S) from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem (pharmaceutical chemistry and chemistry). He holds a PhD from Yarmouk University, Jordan (educational management). He also holds a diploma in teaching science, technology and chemistry for upper secondary classes, as well as a certificate of course for administrators from the University of Haifa and a certificate of organizational consultant from Oranim Academic College. In addition, he was a member of the Ministerial Committee for the Chemistry Curriculum, and he is a member of the Christian Religion Curriculum Committee.
His most widely known work is a Peace Education methodology that he developed in concert with the Ministry of Education and the staff of St. John's. He is considered a pioneer in this field. The objective of Peace Education is to build within students peace of mind while striving for excellence. He has authored a number of Spiritual, literary, educational and scientific research books and articles that all support a culture of peace.
He is fully committed and engaged in several communities in Galilee. He is a frequent volunteer in the community and serves as an elder in the Christian Brethren Assembly in I'billin. A believer person that calls for the love of God and the love of humanity.
His wife, Raeda. has her doctorate in Therapeutic Psychology). He is a father of four: Manar, Yara, Simaan and Bashar.

Anne Haddad
Primary School Principal (K-8th)
Anne Haddad was appointed NBS Primary School Principal in September 2016. She began her career at NBS in 1994 by working as an English teacher. In 2002, she was appointed Vice Principal. She served in this capacity until her recent appointment.
Anne is a NBS graduate and she received her BA degree in English from the French-Haifa University. For over 20 years, Anne has demonstrated a love for children, a strong desire to see children excel and, most importantly, she has earned the respect of her peers for her leadership qualities.
Anne is married and has three children. She is a Believer and a member of the Local Baptist Church.

Botrus Mansour
Director of Operations
Botrus began his school studies in Oxford, England and returned to Nazareth where he graduated from NBS in 1983, as did his mother and two of his three children. His third child is a student at NBS. His mother was a graduate of the 1955 NBS first graduating class. His love for and connection to NBS runs deep!
After high school graduation, he attended the Hebrew University in Jerusalem where he earned a degree in law. He was admitted to the bar in Israel in 1993 and has practiced law in Nazareth since that time. He also holds an MBA from Haifa University and a teaching certificate as a Civics teacher from the Open University.
Botrus is active in community. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Convention for Evangelical Churches in Israel and is a member of the control committee of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel (ABC); a member of the Advisory Board for Musalaha (a reconciliation ministry); a Co-chairman of the Board for the Lausanne Initiative for Reconciliation between Israel and Palestine; and a member of the Negotiation Committee for the Secretariat of Christian Schools. As a member of the Negotiation Committee he helped craft the agreement between Christian Schools in Israel and the Ministry of Education during the September 2015 Christian School crisis.
In the past, he served as a founding member of Nazareth Village, a 1st Century re-enactment tourist center; a member of the Israel Education Forum; the Global Council of Advocates International; the Committee for Recognition of Evangelicals in Israel; and as a member of the board for the Nazareth Evangelical Theological College, currently known as Nazareth Evangelical College (NEC).
He has authored several books, including When Your Neighbor is the Savior (Hope Publishing House, Pasadena, CA, 2012).
He is married to A’bir.
