November 2025 News

THANK YOU for your prayers and generosity.

As part of our team, celebrate with us the work we have accomplished together in the Lord at NBS. We have so much to be thankful for!

You helped build the safe rooms needed meet required school standards in the country. During this challenging year, keeping our NBS students safe was a priority.

You supplied funds for the Potter's Wheel Youth Club. The Club is our after-school club for learning special skills — such as chess, bicycle riding, and volleyball — as well as for hangout time. The Club is an integral piece of the school's discipleship program.

You provided scholarships for kids to attend VBS Day Camp and Potter's Wheel Overnight Camp.

The kids had so much fun, but more importantly, they experienced life change and growth in their spiritual life. Teachings through the school year build on what was learned at camps. Let's repeat it; Camps were amazing!

You have enabled Nazareth Family and Kids to work remotely as Mimi waits for her visa to return to Nazareth after Mike's death. Your support has not gone unnoticed or unfelt.

You have stood by the teachers as they sought to provide superb education in a trying time and a changing world. NBS has some of the best teachers who give their full knowledge and heart to help NBS kids succeed.

There are so many things to be grateful for and these are just a few. MAY GOD GET ALL THE GLORY!

"Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20

"BUILDING THE RISING GENERATIONS GLORIFYING JESUS CHRIST THROUGH DISTINCTIVE EDUCATION"

FON and NBS would like to thank the leaders of the Raymond Davis Foundation for providing scholarships for NBS students. While on the SEJ, FON met with the foundation's leadership team.

SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT JOURNEY  October 2025

After two years without traveling to the Holy Land, we were able to take our first team there in October for a Spiritual Enrichment Journey. The 29-person team came together in Nashville from various locations and enjoyed a wonderful time together in Israel.

The team was safe as they walked the Land and visited many amazing sites of the Bible. As the Scriptures came alive before them, their faith was strengthened and their hearts were stirred. The teams were welcomed at NBS for a visit, our favorite spot to stop in the journey. Friends of Nazareth would love to have you on our next SEJ. Please read the testimonies of two of our October travelers and then click the button below to check out upcoming journey dates.

Friends of Nazareth did an absolutely incredible job organizing our trip to Israel. Every detail—from lodging and meals to transportation and flights—was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. The entire experience felt smooth, intentional, and deeply meaningful. One of the highlights was visiting the Nazareth Baptist School and seeing firsthand the powerful work that Friends of Nazareth supports there. It was inspiring to witness how God is using this school to make a lasting impact in the lives of students and their families.

I’m especially grateful for Roger Mardis and Tyson Lee, whose leadership and passion were evident every step of the way. Their heart for the gospel and their love for the Nazareth Baptist School added so much depth to the trip. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine care made this journey unforgettable. I highly recommend any trip organized by Friends of Nazareth—they truly make it a life-changing experience.

We have just returned from the Spiritual Enrichment trip to the Holy Land with Friends of Nazareth. It was an amazing and inspiring journey as we walked through Scripture while being at the location where it took place. We explored events and locations from Bethlehem to the tomb in a way that brought the Bible to life. We will no longer read accounts of the Scriptures without visualizing the actual place where it occurred. Experiencing the culture, the food, and the land, while staying in 5 star accommodations, was an amazing experience. It was also a blessing to visit the Baptist School in Nazareth and see the wonderful work being carried out to spread the gospel in the land of Jesus. Thank you to Tyson and Roger for the trip of a lifetime.
