RICKY HERRON
Where do you and your family call home? "Hayden, Alabama, in North Central Alabama"
Share a little-known fact about you with our partners. "I grew up playing with Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and Erector Sets. I am still doing that....working with Unistrut..just in way bigger sizes!!!"
What first stirred your heart to partner with FON? "Roger Mardis came to our church for a Missions Fair, and just watching him talk about NBS and the Holy Land got to me."
What skills or experiences do you hope to bring to the FON board? "EXCITEMENT..and a heart desire to be 'used up' by God."
What part of FON most excites you? "Seeing the look on the children's faces when you serve at NBS. We Americans are a drawing card. We are different. The kids can not wait to share their thoughts and dreams with you. What an opportunity!"
What do you hope to see GOD do through FON in the coming years? "More involvement with people, old and young, partnering with FON. I often wonder if the folks living there actually think about the importance that Jesus walked there... It's kind of like living on the seashore; you soon forget to pay attention to its beauty. "
How can our partners pray for you as you step into this role? "That GOD will allow us to expand our ministry and people will step out to be part of FON, and through their efforts, that NBS will be blessed."

IT'S TIME! HAVE YOU GIVEN A SCHOLARSHIP TO SEND A STUDENT TO CAMP?
NBS's first camp begins in six weeks and will continue through August. Plans are well underway. Local leaders are preparing. Counselors are in training. And the kids keep asking, "When does camp start?" The anticipation is already bringing excitement and hope after a very difficult time in Nazareth.
We need your help to provide as many scholarships as possible for kids. Our goal is to make this the best camp ever, filled with opportunities for life change.
PRAY with us that our goal and beyond will be met.

CONGRATULATIONS AND PRAYERS FOR TWO NBS STUDENTS GRADUATING FROM COLLEGE in the USA!
Friends of Nazareth would like to congratulate Yonan Hanna, an NBS student, on his graduation from The University of Mobile in Alabama. It has been an honor to sponsor Yonan.
Yonan will be working at the university while continuing his education at a seminary in Kentucky. Way to go, Yonan! Keep following God's will for your life.
Friends of Nazareth would like to congratulate Amal Azzam on her graduation from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. Amal graduated with a degree from the Department of Music.
Amal is the daughter of Najed Azzam, the head of the NBS School Board, and Gail Azzam, pictured with Amal. Amal will be living in Arizona.
God has great plans for you, Amal! We are so proud of you!
NEXT..... A Peek at Things Happening Around NBS Enjoy! Students took part in hands-on projects to beautify the school, went on field trips, participated in a yarn club, and had a fun day planned at school! All of these were opportunities for building relationships and for teachers to pour into students' hearts. They also studied hard for exams!
