2021 SEJ Brochure
The 2021 Spiritual Enrichment Journey has been rescheduled for October 11-23, 2021. The SEJ cost is $3950/per person with a $300 deposit due at time of registration. The deposit is refundable up to June 15, 2021. If you desire a single room there is a $650 up charge. The SEJ originates and ends in Atlanta, Ga.
A new post-Covid19 norm is required travel insurance. Insurance cost is $235. This includes medical, trip cancellation, air evacuation if needed, and lost bag fee. Registrants will be sent a link to purchase the travel insurance after the registration is completed. The final trip cost is due not later than August 15, 2021.
Please be aware of Israel's pending requirement for tourists. All tourists must possess official documentation that they have received a Covid-19 vaccination or have antibodies that keep them from transmitting or becoming infected by the virus. Israel began this week vaccinating its residents. I don't have details on what the vaccination schedule looks like for Americans. Our sources are telling us that Israel will not admit anyone without proper virus paperwork.
The 2021 SEJ will visit sites in Nazareth, Jerusalem, Caesarea, The Dead Sea, around and the Sea of Galilee and more. A new opportunity will be a visit to the all-new Cana Wedding Chapel. Here, our group will have a very special vow renewal service, dinner, a reception and more. What a great night to dress up and enjoy the place where our Lord performed His first public miracle.
Interest in the SEJ is high, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. If you don't have a current passport you will need to make an application very soon as there is a backlog. Please have the passport expedited. If you have any questions please feel free to message Roger Mardis, roger@friendsofnazareth.org, or call Cyndi (470.297.5913) in the Florence FON office.

2021 Summer Team Opportunities
2021 SUMMER PROGRAM
After many months of praying and listening to experts on the ground in Israel, we have determined that it is not prudent, practical, or possible for Friends of Nazareth to host Americans to support a summer program at Nazareth Baptist School. Certainly, this is not the outcome that we desired.
We appreciate and value your partnership. Our prayer is for God to use this pandemic for His glory! May He help you use this time for building mission awareness, praying, and planning for future engagements around the world, including Nazareth.
Please be assured that the team in Nazareth is not canceling an opportunity to share Jesus with these precious children. They are planning and seeking creative ways to host whatever programs that the Ministry of Education might allow on-site and going virtual if these are not possible. Please pray for the indigenous leaders, the students, and the families to draw nearer to the throne. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Pressing on...let's pray and plan for an exciting 2022 return to a full and exciting summer filled with a slate of college interns, and partners for VBS and Potter's Wheel.
