Friends of Nazareth

The growing effort to build a new campus home for Nazareth Baptist School is being led by Friends of Nazareth, a group of Christian men and women whose shared passion for the school is reaching churches, parachurch ministries, foundations, families and individuals across the U.S, and around the world.

Friends of Nazareth functions under the auspices of TIME Ministries – Training in Mission Evangelism. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, TIME is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.

With over five decades in ministry, TIME President, Dick Thomassian, has extensive knowledge of the Middle East. He is a former teacher at Nazareth Baptist School and has led numerous evangelistic gatherings in Israel.

 

Nazareth Baptist School

With over 50 years of involvement with the school as a teacher, vice principal and principal and general director, Fuad Haddad serves as Chairman of the Board. He also serves as Chairman of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, which represents 20 Baptist churches,1,000 baptized members and a community of 3,000 people.

 

Botrus Mansour is General Director of Nazareth Baptist School. A graduate of the school, he attended Hebrew University in Jerusalem and earned a law degree.

 

Osama Moalem serves as principal of Nazareth Baptist School. He holds a Ph.D. in biomedical studies from The Technion in Haifa. As a physics teacher at the school, he has supervised award-winning projects from students who have participated in “The First Step to Nobel Prize in Physics.” He recently received the “Distinguished Teacher” award from the President of Israel.
